Please note, that your reservation will be accepted only with a credit card guarantee. We do not charge your credit card in advance, the reservation with credit card means only, that your reservation is guaranteed!
Please read our reservation rules carefully before you book!
The rates are per room and include 5 % tax, but the tourist tax of 4 % is not included: you´ll be charged separately and it will be added to your bill.
The tourist tax means 4 % of your total room rate for the entire stay (f.e. by making a 100 EUR-reservation it means for you only 4 EUR).
What is included in my room rate?
In your accepted room rate are included: unlimited free WiFi access for your entire stay, bedlinen, fresh towels (every 3rd day), day cleaning service and free services available at the reception. If you need further information, please check our FAQ´s.
Cancellation policy
- If you cancel your reservation before the free cancellation period specified in the reservation, calculated from the date of arrival, we will not charge a cancellation fee.
- If you cancel your reservation within the free cancellation period specified in the reservation, we will charge the full amount.
- In case of no-show, we will charge you the full amount of the reservation.
If you just want to modify or cancel your reservation, please write us an email with your reservation number and give us all your details, what do you wish to change or cancel.
Group policy
In case you would like to book for more than 10 persons, please write us an e-mail and ask for our special discounted group rates.
We confirm your reservation always by email, together with our valid cancellation and payment policy.
Depending on the value of your business we may ask for a deposit of max. 50 % of the total room revenue in order to guarantee your group reservation.
In case you would like to cancel your group reservation, please write us an email with indicating your reservation number as well.
Please note, that a loud behaviour and affray are completely unacceptable in our building, especially after 9 p.m. Taking our Terms & Conditions into account, we reserve the right to ask for a 100 EUR security deposit from our group guests. After you left your room and it was controlled by us (and our staff confirmed, that everything was all right), we certainly return you your deposit payment at the time of your check-out. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
Long stay policy
If you intend to book a stay longer than 14 days, please contact our colleague and he/she will inform you about the conditions of your booking. We may require pre-payment in order to guarantee your reservation. Our valid cancellation and payment policy will be included in our confirmation letter. In case you would like to cancel your reservation, please inform us about it by email or by phone together with your reservation number as soon as possible.
Children´s policy
- Maximum 1 child in a room between 0-6 years free of charge, when sleeping in the bed of parents
- Maximum 1 child in a room between 0-6 years free of charge in a baby cot
- Maximum 1 child in a room between 7-12 years 20 EUR/day.
Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in time is 2 p.m. earliest
- Check-out time is 10 a.m. latest
At early check-in and late check-out please use our luggage room free of charge.
Early/late check-in & check-out
Early check-in is possible starting from 9am and late check-out before 1pm for the fee of 20 EUR/hours. For longer stay, half-day room rate charge will apply. Please inform us in advance if early check-in or late check-out is planned. (We´ll be glad to help you, depending of course on our booking situation).
Parking your car
Parking is available on the street for a fee. We recommend downloading the EasyPark app from the website, through which you can easily pay with a credit card.
Pets policy
Pets are not allowed at the property.
Smoke-free policy
The entire area of House Octogon is non-smoking.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms and throughout the building.
In case of violation of the smoking ban, the guest may be required to pay a compensation of EUR 500.
Theft and damages policy
An electronic camera system is in place in the common areas of the accommodation for property protection and security purposes.
House Octogon is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged valuables.
Valuables can be stored in the safe at the reception.
When leaving the room, please:
- close the doors and windows,
- turn off unnecessary electrical appliances,
- keep the key/card.
Please hand in any found items at the reception.
Special requests
Fulfilling your special requests upon arrival: it is always a subject to availability. Our hotel cannot guarantee it, further it can cause you additional costs too.
