Thank you for choosing House Octogon. By making a reservation, you agree to our house rules and the following regulations, which apply to all guests at House Octogon.
Quiet Hours
To ensure the peace and quiet of our other guests, please avoid loud talking and making noise between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM.
Luggage Storage
We offer luggage storage at the front desk during reception hours.
Smoking
The entire premises of House Octogon are non-smoking.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms and throughout the entire building.
In the event of a violation of the smoking ban, the guest may be required to pay a compensation fee of 500 EUR.
Check-in and Check-out
The room is available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Please inform us in advance of your expected arrival and departure times.
If you wish to check out after 10:00 a.m. or extend your stay, please notify our staff as soon as possible, but no later than upon arrival.
Late Check-out:
Subject to availability; fee: 20 EUR per room per hour or part thereof.
Early check-in and late check-out are possible only by prior arrangement and subject to availability.
We provide a key/card for the rooms. Please return the key/card to the front desk upon departure.
In the event of loss or damage to the key/card, a fee of 50 EUR per item will be charged.
Credit card payments are accepted at the front desk.
Only guests registered at the front desk are permitted to stay in the rooms. For guests exceeding the number specified in the reservation, the property may charge the daily room rate (rack rate).
Guests are fully responsible for the conduct of their visitors and for any damage they may cause.
Pets
Pets, including dogs and other animals, are not permitted on the property.
Damage and Liability
Please use the accommodations’ furnishings and equipment for their intended purposes.
It is prohibited to remove any items, furnishings, or linens—including towels—from the room or common areas.
Do not place foreign substances or objects in the drains.
The person responsible for the damage or their legal representative bears full financial liability for any damage caused.
If the extent of the damage cannot be determined immediately, the accommodation facility may charge a minimum compensation fee of 150 EUR.
Common Area
There is a television on the second floor, to the right of the stairwell.
Please ask at the front desk for the code required to use it.

The dining room can be accessed via the rear staircase leading from the ground-floor courtyard.

Fire Safety and Security
An electronic camera system is in operation in the property’s common areas for security and safety purposes.
House Octogon assumes no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged valuables.
Valuables can be stored in the safe located at the front desk.
Please ensure that whenever you leave your room:
- you lock the doors and windows,
- you turn off any electrical appliances that are not in use,
- you keep your key/card with you.
Please turn in any found items at the front desk.
The property is equipped with a fire alarm system. Manual fire alarms are located in the common hallways.
The person responsible for any damage resulting from the unnecessary use of fire extinguishers will be held fully financially liable.
The following are prohibited in the rooms:
- storing flammable or explosive materials,
- using personal coffee makers, kettles, irons, or other high-power electrical appliances,
- using open flames (candles, oil lamps, incense, etc.).
If you need to iron your clothes, please contact the front desk, where we will provide the necessary equipment.
In the event of a fire, you must follow the evacuation route posted in your room and leave the building immediately.
Please notify the front desk immediately in the event of a fire.
Compliance with fire and safety regulations is mandatory for all guests.
Emergency
In case of an emergency, please call the emergency number 112.
WiFi
Wireless internet (WiFi) is available free of charge throughout House Octogon and in the common areas.
We will provide you with the login information upon check-in.
